At your initial consultation your dentist will take a series of photographs and a digital scan of your teeth.

Your dentist and a SureSmile® Lab expert will work alongside eachother to form a bespoke treatment plan just for you!

At this appointment your dentist will give you your new patient welcome kit and aligners.
Your dentist will explain how frequently you should change your aligners and how many hours your aligners need to be worn for.

After you have started your aligner journey with us, we will continue to see you for review appointments to see how the treatment is going and answer any questions you may have.

Treatment time for Suresmile® is different for each individual as your treatment plan is bespoke for you. Generally it can last from 6-18 months.

The SureSmile Aligner system is a digital only platform; therefore, we do not take conventional impressions (moulds) of your teeth. Instead, we utilise our Digital Scanner which is much more accurate and comfortable experience for our patients.

The great news with Suresmile® aligners is that you do not have to give up your favourite foods. When eating you do have to remove your aligners to prevent staining or discolouration of the aligners. After eating you will need to brush your teeth before placing your aligners back in.

When moving the teeth, we need to apply pressure to them with the aligners. This has been described as wearing a shoe one size smaller- while it might be ok initially, as the day goes on it can feel quite achy. This pressure feeling is more during the first aligners, but as your teeth begin to move the pressure feeling is often reduced. By the end of treatment, most patients actually start to appreciate the pressure feeling because they know it must be moving their teeth!

The cost of SureSmile Treatment is £3995. If an additional Cone-Beam computed tomography (CBCT) scan is need there would be an additional cost of £180.
Our pricing structure is designed to include everything needed for your treatment. This includes:
-Digital Scanning, Clinical photography and digital treatment planning
-Complete SureSmile Aligner Treatment
-Any corrective aligners required post treatment for 12 months
-Teeth whitening procedure (if clinically appropriate)
-All review and treatment appointments
-Post treatment Enamelplasty (final shaping of teeth)- if required
-Post treatment Retainer
If there are any additional costs to be added (for example: fillings, crowns, Hygiene appointments) these will be outlined to you and an estimate for costs given prior to commencement of treatment
